The Sr. SAP Supply Chain Functional Applications Analyst is a high visibility role within IT and is responsible for delivering innovative enterprise solutions in the areas of Procurement and Materials, Inventory Management, Sourcing, Contract Management.

This role will require functional knowledge to support existing applications as well as providing innovative solutions to new challenges enhancements.

The role requires excellent interpersonal skills in order to establish strong relationships with Procurement and Materials / Logistics Performance Management, Sourcing and Global Materials Management organizations.

Role requires understanding of Project Management Methodologies, Software Development cycles and change management.

Assist others with programming, system testing, documentation, system deployment, training, and project setup/support often involving performing project setups, analyses, designs, etc., for/with customers.

Similar duties are often associated with the selection, acquisition, installation and configuration of applications licensed from third parties training and guidance on a regular basis; performs work of same or closely allied nature.

Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • This role will require functional knowledge to support existing applications as well as providing innovative solutions to new challenges enhancements
  • Role requires understanding of Project Management Methodologies, Software Development cycles and change management.
  • The role requires excellent interpersonal skills in order to establish strong relationships with Procurement and Materials / Logistics Performance Management, Sourcing and Global Materials Management organizations
  • Master data objects and functionality in SCM, such as and not limited to materials, bills of materials, vendors, customer master, EDI relationships to business partners, info records. Understanding of batch management and serialization.
  • Solutions to complex business challenges for Supply Chain processes involving SAP and non-SAP application components, as well as Supply Chain processes with tight integration to Finance

 

Requirements

 

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in CS, MIS, or Engineering and 7 years of related SAP SCM experience in Applications Project / Support which includes experience in requirements gathering, blueprinting, configuration, integration and deployments      
  • Responsible for project deliverables, requirements gathering, functional designs, estimates and solution delivery.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written skills  
  • Possess strong organizational skills and be task driven

 

Preferred

  • Dolphin/Taulia experience preferred
  • Ability to read and debug SAP code is preferred.
  • Supply Chain mobility experience is preferred
  • supply chain business domain knowledge / experience preferred.
  • certification in MM  SCM is preferred
  • Understanding of SAP configuration, including account determination, conditioning technique for price and output determination
  • Understanding on the integration of MM to the other modules such as Finance, Production Planning, Sales and Distribution and Logistics.
  • Materials Requirement Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, Inventory forecasting and Intercompany PO/SO processes.
  • Experience  and understanding of SOX and Segregation of Duties
