With general autonomy, responsible for overall delivery if IT services typically in a country or small region Applications, Business Unit, Customer Service, Infrastructure, Program Management, Service Delivery Center. Applications, such as application architecture, standards/tools and development, software licensing, release management and portfolio management. Business Unit, such as business alignment, customer advocacy, demand management, and project management. Customer Services, such as service desk, security administration, request management, desktop support, COE standards, problem management and delivery management.

  • Supervises others either directly or through subordinate supervisors.
  • Coordinates diverse activities within a functional area.
  • Plans work and administers policies.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring adherence to global policies and develops procedures and processes.
  • Employs business knowledge to ensure alignment with business plans
  • Supports the development of and executes business plans
  • Provides leadership and support for ongoing operations
  • Financial & resources management
  • Manages and executes global team objectives and plans
  • Manage the development of and mentors personnel



Required – completion of an associate’s degree.

Application specific (over and above core knowledge):

  • Experience with Software applications and processes
  • Must possess a limited knowledge of infrastructure components to allow for interaction with infrastructure support functions


    Business Unit specific (over and above core knowledge):

    • Knowledge of and work experience in Business Unit/Product Line work practices, project execution work processes, service level requirements and client interfaces


    Customer Service specific (over and above core knowledge):

    • Ability to manage Customer Service activities, covering global operations, customer support, desktop support, service desk, and asset management


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of a undergraduate degree in Business Management or equivalent


  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT supervisory capacities which include experience in functional areas


    Other Experience

    Core knowledge required of all disciplines:

    • Mentoring, leadership and team building skills with emphasis on specific disciplines.

    • Must be an effective communicator with a strong emphasis on inter personal skills, to manage and motivate teamwork.

    • Knowledge of business unit organizational structure, products and services, and strategic initiatives.

    • Understanding of project execution strategy and the role of technology in achieving project goals.
