The IT Asset Management Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the software lifecycle asset management tasks. The position will work closely with the Asset Management Team, suppliers, customers, and other supporting team members to enable the lifecycle of software assets, including but not limited to support and maintenance contract agreements, asset procurement, and asset disposition.


Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience with IT Asset Management, Procurement, or computer related field, preferably in the Software Asset Management field
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate with customers (both IT and outside IT) to gather business and functional requirements, map existing processes, and assist with process re-design
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of the IT Asset Lifecycle
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of Software Entitlements and license models
  • Has proven track record of self-management
  • Follows up on critical and/or complex issues
  • Executes process for ongoing monitoring, exception handling, self-audits
  • Provides reporting and reconciliation results in support of software maintenance true-ups
  • Acts as a highly motivated results oriented employee
  • Has strong organizational capabilities
  • Has a proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast paced environment
  • Assists in the design and establishment of asset management policies and procedures that address all aspects of software usage that ensure maintenance of compliance
  • Coordinate with other areas involved with management of IT Assets including Finance, Procurement, and Incident/Change/Configuration Management to ensure that we are tightly aligned in the full asset lifecycle
  • Establish and own a phase in the asset lifecycle from policy and procedures, forms and templates, to relationship with the suppliers, to reporting key metrics to upper management, as well as working to continually improve the process to better service our customers.
  • Utilizing asset data to provide recommendations to Management on process improvements and optimization opportunities
  • Demonstrates excellence in customer service, teaming, verbal and written communication skills
  • Has developed relationships with software vendors and value added resellers
  • Has worked extensively in various ITSM and ITAM toolsets to help in advancing the technology of service we provide to our customers.
  • Other duties as assigned


CSAM / CITAM Certification preferred
