Job Title: Senior Tax Analyst

External Description: •Ensure the completion of tax accounting (ASC 740) for the company and its subsidiaries, including financial statement and regulatory tax disclosures.
•Ensure the completion of the tax returns, estimated tax payments, and the allocation of tax liabilities for the company and its subsidiaries, including partnerships, exempt organizations, trusts, pension plans, and limited liability companies.
•Reconcile tax accounts, prepare variance analysis relating to rate reconciliation and balance sheet accounts compared to prior periods and plan for internal management reporting and SEC filings.
•Work closely with tax personnel, business unit accountants, and other internal stakeholders to understand transactions applicable to the tax return and tax provision.
•Assist with the effort to manage the tax requirements for the financial forecasting and strategic planning for assigned business unit, entities, and responsibilities
•Coordinate, review, and/or prepare company’s responses to audit queries, data requests, and proposed adjustments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
•Monitor existing and emerging tax laws, tax accounting issues under ASC 740, and SEC regulations, including researching and quantifying any impact to the company’s financial statements; maintain strong knowledge of the industry and the business.
External Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration and 5 or more years of experience preferably with a large CPA firm/corporate tax department. 
•Master’s degree in Tax or Accounting and/or CPA license highly preferred.
•Solid experience of accounting for income taxes and financial reporting under ASC 740 for public companies. 
•Capable of  researching tax accounting issues under ASC 740 and positions within scope of specified function and have demonstrated experience reviewing and understanding work papers prepared by staff members and implementation of results as needed or applicable,
•Requires ability to multi-task and must possess excellent communication skills, interpersonal and organization skills. 
•Requires interaction with internal and external stakeholders. 
•Corporate Tax provision and compliance software a plus.
