Role synopsis

The Recruiter is responsible for the end to end recruitment and selection process which includes but not limited only to the following elements: identifying new recruitment channels, proactive stakeholder management, sourcing, selecting and hiring for all job openings to GBS Europe Szeged location

Key accountabilities

  • Develop the annual Talent Attraction plan, identifying suitable methods of attraction beyond advertisement campaigns
  • Proactive Stakeholder management as main point of contact to the relevant departments
  • Responsible to meet the hiring needs of the client organization, by seeking to understand hiring requirements, developing sourcing plan, to generate candidate pools
  • Conduct recruitment related trainings to the stakeholders
  • Focus on Diversity and Inclusion during the whole hiring process, ensure that BP is an employer of choice place of work
  • Continuously look for feedback from stakeholders about the recruitment process, and implement action plan when required
  • Own the University Relations agenda for the respective area, (support job fairs to promote BP, position BP EVP)
  • Give promotional presentations, as required inform candidates of company benefits and job opportunities
  • Review direct applications on TAS screening CV’s and conducting screening interviews
  • Gather information that enables assessment of applicants' technical skills, education, work history, personality, salary requirements, and managerial abilities
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with recruiting agency(ies) ensuring they are aware of requirements and are sending through appropriate candidates (number and quality)
  • Support the functional Directors to conduct screening / interviews for enabling and operational senior roles, advising on suitability for the role
  • Lead the Assessment Centres, supporting the interviews/ testing of applicants to locate qualified employees for job openings
  • Facilitate the decision making process at the end of the assessment centres ensuring consistency of approach
  • Work with the functional Directors to understand needs and update on status
  • Liaise with HR operation regarding on-boarding process to new-joiners up to starting date
  • Advise on the salary / package to be offered
  • Position job offers, negotiate as appropriate and follow up with formal paperwork / contracts
  • Maintain files on applicants, including results on tests and outcomes of interviews
  • Initiate, lead or participate in process improvement initiatives to ensure recruitment processes are effective and efficient.
  • Follow BP policies and procedures through the recruitment process and ensure that they are kept by leaders as well
  • Understand and implement the government's guidelines on discrimination

Essential Education

  • Educated to university level or equivalent
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent Hungarian and English Language knowledge is a must, any additional European language knowledge is a definite advantage
  • High Level of IT proficiency in Microsoft packages

Essential experience and job requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years Recruitment experience on Agency or Company side
  • Extensive independent stakeholder management experience
  • Deep understanding of the Hungarian Shared Service market
  • Must demonstrate a strong understanding of customer centric approach
  • Proven track record project management, ability to multitask
  • Experience to adopt to a changing environment
  • Able to actively promote a positive team environment and build networks effectively to enhance and share knowledge
