Perform quality control acceptance testing of wireline open-hole and cased-hole tools by independently conducting a comprehensive set of basic and complex tool services and operations to verify that the tools perform to the specified requirements. Inspect the workmanship and quality of the manufactured wireline assemblies based on Company quality performance specification and interpret the output data is accurate. Record and troubleshoot any abnormalities found and communicate with Manufacturing Engineering throughout the repair process. Work with the Engineering department to make improvements to the existing assemblies. Create and maintain required records of tests performed. Perform all duties in accordance with HSE standards as set forth by Company policy. Travel up to 70% of the time via road travel, transporting tools to and from Company owned test sites and manufacturing sites.




Bachelor’s degree (or Foreign Equivalent) in Petrophysics, Geology, or Geophysical Engineering and 7 years of in job or related experience in performing wireline logging.


Must have 7 years of experience with the following:


1.       Performing wireline logging operations including an understanding of tool operations and formation measurements;

2.       Interpreting open-hole and cased-hole geological logging data and managing the data quality controls of acquired log data and formation evaluations; and

3.       Understanding of and experience with various logging measurements such as resistivity, borehole imaging, porosity, density, neutron, acoustic, gamma ray, caliper, and magnetic resonance.
