Develop learning objectives and strategies including curricula and instructional methods for professionals in the Exploration and Production industry. Develop and design learning/instructional products for online, blended and instructor-led solutions. Develop instructional materials by interviewing subject matter experts or conducting other research. Make recommendations regarding course design, technology, and instruction delivery options to management. Provide analytical support for the design and development of training curricula, learning strategies and courseware standards. Collect information through observation, interviews, and/or surveys. Support learning solutions by providing excellent customer service, including assessing customer needs, delivering a high quality service and evaluating customer satisfaction. Apply this both internally within the company as well as externally to support our customers. Author articles, white papers, and reports to share research findings and educate others at internal and customer events as well as industry conferences. Work towards establishing self as thought leader in Learning & Training within the O&G industry. Identify and create relationships with 3rd party organizations to innovate our learning offerings from both a technology and content perspective. Apply sales and marketing principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling learning products or services.  Deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers as well as studying consumers' reactions to new products and delivery designs, and to advertising efforts, using surveys and tests. The specific products and services to be marketed and sold include any Company software including the following: DecisionSpace, FieldPlan, Nexus Reservoir Simulation, and OpenWorks Project Data Management. Think creatively to develop, design, or create new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions. Travel up to 5-10% to work with customers at their work sites or attend training/conferences.


Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Human Resource Development and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position and must have 4 years of experience with each of the following. 1.Applying knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation 2.Applying principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects. 3.Identifying the educational needs of others, developing formal educational or training programs or classes, and teaching or instructing others.


Must also have at least 6 months experience with the each of the following: applying psychological research methods as applied to survey design and using key technologies - Dashboard Software (e.g. xAPI), video editing, and online survey software.
