Under broad supervision, responsible for delivering system performance, availability, and capacity to agreed-upon service levels in assigned technology, major system, or functional area. Resolves complex technical problems in area of responsibility. Performs complex monitoring and maintenance tasks in area of responsibility. Responsible for the installation, configuration, tuning, and documentation of software products in area of responsibility. Works with other company service providers to ensure that systems in area of responsibility operate compatibly with other company systems

Not everyone can do this job; but we're not looking for just anyone. When the technical challenge becomes more complex, you step in as a Sr. Information Technology Technical Support Analyst. Take responsibility for delivering optimal system performance, availability and capacity. Perform complex monitoring and maintenance tasks in your area of responsibility. Take charge of the installation, configuration, tuning, and documentation of software products in that area. Work with other company service providers to ensure those systems operate compatibly with other company systems. Help supervise others and provide basic job training and guidance on a regular basis. A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and a minimum of eight years experience in application administration, including experience n a corporate IT environment, are required.
