Senior PDMS Piping Designer -
The primary function of this position is piping and equipment layout, detail design, and checking.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
•Layout and detail design of facilities from PFD’s and P&ID’s
•Modeling of equipment, piping, access/egress ways, etc…
•Prepare isometrics for checking, following P&ID’s
•Check isometrics and other piping drawings
•Coordinate with other department disciplines to ensure designs are completed.
•May lead a team of designers
Education and Experience
Required:
•Minimum 10 years experience as a piping designer preferably with offshore oil and gas experience
Software Experience:
Required:
•2-3 years PDMS experience minimum
•Auto Cad experience
Prefer:
•PDMS Draft experience
•Site experience (working in a shipyard or other related site experience)
•FPSO, platform experience preferred
